The Big Industrial Week has started. A gate to Africa for Russian companies
On the first day of the Big Industrial Week International Industrial and Technology Trade Fair and Forum, visitors had the opportunity to see joint exhibits of more than 10 regions of the Russian Federation: the Sverdlovsk Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Udmurt Republic, Chuvash Republic, Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Kaluga, Tver Regions, and Krasnodar Territory.
The Russian Export Center presented stands of 8 companies, including: Neftepromavtomatika LLC, RPA “Structure”, Association VAST, MetProm Group, Suksun Optical and Mechanical Plant, HIMMASH-APPARAT, and others.
The Arab Organization for Industrialization prepared a joint stand of several companies. They include the Aircraft plant, Factory for Development Industries, H-Y Technologies, Bettermix Ready Mix, New Construction Chemicals, Bettermix Ready Mix, and others.
The visitors could also get acquainted with the stands of French, German and Indian chambers of commerce and industry.
The Minister of State for Military Production of Egypt Mohamed El Asar visited the trade fair on its first day. He viewed the Rosatom State Corporation’s stand as well as the one of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
The trade fair also saw the visits of Abdel Moneam Al Tarras, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Nasser Hamed, the Head of the Commercial Bureau of the Egyptian Embassy to the Russian Federation.
On October 8, Rosatom State Corporation’s Forum for suppliers and contractors of El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant project was also opened. The welcoming remarks were pronounced by Mohamed Shaker El-Markabi, the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt.
The First Deputy Director General for Corporate Development and International Business of Rosatom Kirill Komarov participated in the Plenary Session named “El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant Project Implementation”.
The Big Industrial Week is held in the new Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo on October 8-10, 2019.
The Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt Amr Nassar and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov are expected to visit the trade fair on October 9.
