Big Industrial Week Global Industrial and Technology Exhibition and Forum Presented at a Meeting of Japan Business Association in Cairo

On June 23, 2019, Director of the Trade Fair Elena Suvorova briefed Japanese colleagues on event opportunities. Meeting participants included Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Egypt, General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) affiliated with the Ministry of Investment (MOI), and representatives of the Egyptian banking segment.

Big Industrial Week Global Industrial and Technology Exhibition and Forum is designed to provide companies from all over the world with the point of entry into the markets of North and Central Africa and the Middle East. Countries of this region are key importers of machinery, industrial products, and foodstuffs. Buyers from Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Nigeria, Sudan, etc. will attend the exhibition and take part in the forum.

"We look forward to seeing Japan among event participants because more than 50 Japanese industrial enterprises have their offices in Cairo. Oil and gas, the power industry, mechanical engineering, and automation have been selected as the main sectors of the trade fair. But in our choice of themes we always try to take into account market trends and corporate interests, so if pharmaceutical companies request an opportunity to present their medical equipment, we are more than happy to accommodate them and add pharmaceuticals to the list of exhibition tracks. We will be happy to confirm Japan's participation in our event," Director of Big Industrial Week Global Industrial and Technical Exhibition and Forum Elena Suvorova pointed out.
