Embassy of Russia: Russia-Africa Summit Will Be Held Next October under the Auspices of El Sisi and Putin
Svetlana Zubova, the Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the Russian Federation embassy in Egypt, announced a Russia-Africa Summit in October under the auspices of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, noting that invitations are being sent to African leaders. During the conference of the Industrial Modernization Center for announcing the Russian international forum and exhibition titled "The Big Industrial Week", scheduled to be held from 8 to 10 October 2019, she pointed out that the Russia-Africa Summit aims at increasing economic and investment cooperation between Russia and the African countries. The Summit will be followed by a Russian-African economic forum.
